HOW TO EMPTY TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES / CACHE IN INTERNET EXPLORER 8 (IE8)

How do I empty my browser cache in Internet Explorer 8?


This website provides information on how to empty your browser cache. To empty your browser cache please select a browser from the list below and instuctions will be provided:

  1. Open Internet Explorer 8
  2. From the top menu select 'Tools' then 'Delete Browsing History' (alternatively you can press Ctrl-Shift-Delete to open the Delete Browsing History window
  3. Select the checkbox entitled "Temporary Internet Files"
  4. Click the delete button at the bottom
  5. Your cache will now be cleared and you will be returned to Internet Explorer 8
